A sweated hand upon the 4-track, he guides the unmarked sloop from one steaming, disreputable port to another by wan moonlight. What emerges when the shore-haze finally lifts is a cassette of Ten Blues, funny little boogies that must describe what the cybernetics are up to in the lamp-lit driftwood shacks that lean seaward out of the shadowed mangroves.
